Sling TV is reducing the price of its $5 Day Pass to $1 through Nov. 30. The discount isn't related to Black Friday; instead, it's due to a legal ruling, according to Sling.

Disney sued Sling TV in August, accusing the streamer of violating the terms of their streaming agreement by offering deals outside of monthly subscriptions. This week, US District Judge Arun Subramanian ruled in Sling's favor. According to Sling, the reduced-price Day Passes celebrate "Sling's recent court victory after a federal court denied Disney's request for a preliminary injunction," allowing Sling to continue offering its Day, Weekend and Week Pass subscriptions.

Sling's Day Pass allows subscribers to access the 34 channels included with its Sling Orange offering for 24 hours. Channels include ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, CNN, TNT, TBS and the Disney Channel. The new deal is available to both new and returning subscribers, who can continue to pay $1 for a pass throughout the offer period.

Sling's other passes aimed at casual viewers include $10 Weekend Passes, which provide access to Sling Orange from Friday to Sunday, and $15 Week Passes, which give access for seven days.
