Boom Supersonic Secures $300 Million Investment for New Energy Project
Boom Supersonic, a company known for its work on supersonic jets, has recently raised $300 million to develop natural gas turbines. These turbines will be used to power data centers run by Crusoe, a company focused on using energy efficiently. In a significant deal, Crusoe has agreed to pay Boom a total of $1.25 billion for over a gigawatt of energy-generating capacity. This partnership aims to provide a cleaner energy solution for data centers, which are essential for managing our digital world.
The first deliveries of these turbines are expected to begin in 2027. This investment not only highlights the growing importance of sustainable energy sources but also shows how companies are increasingly looking to innovate in the energy sector. With this initiative, Boom Supersonic and Crusoe are working together to create more efficient energy solutions that could benefit both the environment and the technology industry.
