Hisense has unveiled its MiniLED TV range for 2026, featuring the U6 and U7 Series, which offer full array local dimming and Quantum Dot color.

The U7 and U6 are the step-down models from the RGB MiniLED UR8 which Hisense announced at CES 2026

Hisense says its U7 delivers "MiniLED performance typically reserved for higher price tiers," and includes the company's Hi-QLED MiniLED Pro backlight with full array local dimming. The U7 features a native 165Hz refresh rate and picture processing via the company's Hi-View AI Engine Pro.

The TV features a 50W Dolby Atmos sound system (2.1.2) and is available in two different versions: Google TV (U7SG) and Fire TV (U7SF). The U7 is available in sizes from 55-inches to 116-inches.

Meanwhile, U6 TV includes the company's Hi-QLED MiniLED with full array local dimming, Quantum Dot color and an AI picture mode. The TV features a sound system with an onboard subwoofer and is available in sizes from 55 to 100 inches with Fire TV onboard.

In 2025, the entry-level QD7 won CNET's best budget TV award and so these two mid-range TVs hold a lot of promise in terms of bang-for-buck.

The TVs are rolling out now, though the site currently says "Coming Soon," while Hisense says the TVs are coming to Amazon and other retailers soon. The company adds that the U6 will be rolling out in the coming weeks.
