The 2026 World Baseball Classic reaches its conclusion on Tuesday in Miami as tournament favorites USA take on a Venezuela team making its first appearance in this tournament's final.

After a narrow escape in the pool stage, Team USA looked far more assured in the knockout rounds, with Aaron Judge and company easing past Canada in the quarterfinals. That was followed by a thrilling semifinal victory over the Dominican Republic on Sunday.

While Team USA will be playing on home turf, the Arepa Power look set to have a sizeable support at Loan Depot Park and its star-packed line-up, which includes Ronald Acuña Jr., Jackson Chourio and Willson Contreras. The team had big wins over Japan and Italy en route to the Tuesday showdown.

Venezuela takes on Team USA at LoanDepot Park in Miami on Tuesday, March 17. The action gets underway at 8 p.m. ET or 5 p.m. PT in the US and Canada, making it a 12 midnight GMT start in the UK.

How to watch Venezuela vs. USA online anywhere using a VPN

If you can't view the final locally, you may need an alternative way to watch the World Baseball Classic 2026. A VPN can be helpful. A VPN is also the best way to stop your ISP from throttling your speeds on game day by encrypting your traffic. It's also a great idea if you're traveling and find yourself connected to a Wi-Fi network and want to add an extra layer of privacy for your devices and logins.

With a VPN, you can virtually change your location on your phone, tablet or laptop to get access to the game. Most VPNs, like our CNET Editors' Choice, ExpressVPN, make it simple to do this. Using a VPN to watch or stream sports is legal in any country where VPNs are legal, including the US, UK and Australia, as long as you have a legitimate subscription to the service you're streaming.

You should be sure your VPN is set up correctly to prevent leaks: Even where VPNs are legal, the streaming service may terminate the account of anyone it deems to be circumventing correctly applied blackout restrictions.
