Cereal boxes just aren't as much fun without the included prizes that many of us remember from our childhoods. From Cap'n Crunch whistles that reportedly helped spark the concept of hacking and eventually inspired Apple Computer to the classic Freakies monsters, some of these treasures are still floating around flea markets and dusty attics.

Froot Loops box with Toy Story prizes

Froot Loops is one of the cereals that'll include the Toy Story promotions. This box advertises that it contains free collectible trading cards.

Now, a whole new generation will be able to relive the charm of dumping out an entire box of sugary cereal to dig out a hidden prize -- at least, while supplies last.

Beginning April 26, select boxes of the Kellogg's cereals Froot Loops, Frosted Flakes, Corn Pops, Apple Jacks, Frosted Mini-Wheats, Rice Krispies, Corn Flakes and Cocoa Loops will contain Toy Story-inspired prizes. It's all a promotion for the Toy Story 5 movie, which will hit theaters on June 19.

Some classic cereal-prize toys will return (Kellogg's isn't revealing which ones), while other boxes will include items that are more collectible than toys. Plastic spoons featuring Buzz Lightyear, Jessie the cowgirl and Sheriff Woody will be among the prizes, along with trading cards.

If you want to revisit the old Toy Story movies before the new one is released, they're all streaming on Disney Plus.
