A driver has been hoisted to safety after dangling for hours off a bridge in West Virginia, where early winter storms have brought rain and snow.
The tractor-trailor had earlier lost control on the icy bridge road, causing the cab of the truck to veer off the bridge.
Local fire and rescue teams set up a crane to winch the man from the cab.
He was not injured.
