'I will sleep with fear': Romanians shaken after Russian drone strike

Romania: Residents shaken after Russian drone strike

The BBC visited a block of flats in Romania's eastern town of Galați, near the border with Ukraine, after it was hit by a Russian drone strike that injured two people on Friday.

A resident of the building said he was afraid after the drone strike.

"If i go back to my flat tonight, I will sleep with fear," he told BBC's Eastern Europe correspondent Sarah Rainsford.

Romanian President Nicușor Dan said the drone was likely hit by Ukrainian air defences over Kyiv's territory, altering its trajectory, though Moscow questioned whether it was Russian.
