PlayStation FlexStrike next to DualSense controller

Last year, Sony unveiled new PlayStation accessories, including a pair of Bluetooth speakers and a 27-inch QHD IPS display. It took several months, but these PlayStation accessories have finally gotten release dates -- well, most of them.

Sony revealed new details on its upcoming PlayStation accessory lineup, consisting of the PlayStation FlexStrike wireless fight stick, the PlayStation monitor and the Pulse Elevate Bluetooth speakers. Preorders for the fight stick and monitors are just around the corner, and both arrive in August, while the speakers remain shrouded in mystery -- Sony has yet to give us more details on them.

Sony

Sony announced its Bluetooth FlexStrike wireless fight stick last July, and now we know when it will ship and how much it will cost: $200, with preorders opening June 12 and a release date of Aug. 6.

The new stick is set to release alongside Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, a new fighting game from developer Arc System Works, which is the team behind the Guilty Gear and BlazBlue franchises.

Unlike other fight sticks, Sony designed the FlexStrike to integrate with the PlayStation ecosystem. It has DualSense-style controls including touchpad, Share, Options, L3 and R3 buttons, which should make it easy to use all the controller's functionality while playing, unlike other sticks that use a generic button layout to support multiple platforms.

If you only want to use it to control your character in a fighting game, you can leave the DualSense wireless controller connected to the PS5 for navigating menus. The FlexStrike can also connect to a Pulse Elite wireless headset via a PS Link USB adapter, allowing for ultra-low latency audio and voice chat, as well as connecting to another FlexStrike via the link for head-to-head matches.

Sony claims the FlexStrike is capable of input lag as low as 4ms and up to 40 hours of battery life.

Sony designed the stick to offer ergonomic positioning of your wrists and hands, as well as to make it thinner than traditional fight sticks. It has a built-in storage compartment to hold a PS Link USB adapter and cables. It even comes with its own crossbody carrying case.

PlayStation 27" Gaming Monitor with DualSense Charging Hook

Sony first revealed its PlayStation-branded monitor in November 2025, notable for its built-in flip-down charging cradle for your controller. The company has now provided pricing and availability information: $350, with preorders starting June 5 and a release date of Aug. 27.

Unlike its Sony-branded InZone siblings, the 27-inch display uses an IPS panel with what seems to be standard backlight; earlier InZone's used mini LED backlights with local dimming for true HDR, and Sony has yet to provide brightness specs for this one. It does support Auto HDR Tone Mapping, which converts a game's standard tonal range to an HDR tone curve, which can provide better visuals in the midtones.

Other specs include 2,560 x 1,440 resolution with support for a variable refresh rate up to 120Hz via the PS5's HDMI connection. With a PC or Mac, it can support up to a 240Hz refresh rate over DisplayPort.

It has two HDMI and one DisplayPort connectors, along with two USB Type-A ports and one USB Type-C port. There's also a built-in stereo speaker and 3.5mm audio output, and it can be mounted with select VESA mounting systems.

One accessory Sony has yet to provide a price or ship date for is its wireless PlayStation Pulse Elevate speakers. The company showed them off last September, and while they're slated for 2026, that's all we know.

The Pulse Elevate can connect via Bluetooth or PS Link, PlayStation's proprietary technology for lossless low-latency audio. They support dual-devices connections, which let you staying connected to a phone in order to play music or chat with others on Discord, for example. A built-in mic allows players to chat without having to connect a headset.

Sony says the speaker response goes as low as 80 Hertz and all the way up to 20,000 Hertz (it incorporates planar magnetic drivers). This puts the speakers in the same dynamic range as other high-end speakers.
