The goblin event, in particular, is a highlight. For those unfamiliar, it involves tracking down hordes of mischievous goblins across Sanctuary, opening treasure chests, and acquiring valuable loot that can benefit your characters throughout the season. Unlike many events where rewards are capped, the goblin event's chests continue to respawn, meaning the more goblins you defeat, the more materials and resources you collect. For players hitting a wall with essential materials such as Forgotten Souls or Cube components, this is an invaluable opportunity to stockpile resources and secure an early-season advantage.
On top of these events, Blizzard has sweetened the celebration by offering a series of free in-game cosmetic gifts. Starting June 1st, players can log in daily to Diablo 4 Gold collect a variety of items, including the Blood Ravens Talent sword, a shield, a dagger, a two-handed axe, and a glaive. These gifts provide both aesthetic appeal and an incentive to log in consistently during the anniversary period.
Public Test Realm: What You Need to Know
Perhaps the most anticipated feature in the upcoming week is the launch of the Diablo IV Public Test Realm (PTR). For the uninitiated, the PTR is a separate testing environment where players can preview upcoming changes, new seasonal mechanics, and experimental updates before they go live on the main servers. The PTR is available exclusively on Battle.net for PC users and requires a separate client download, which is the same size as the main game.
