Apple TV holds the distinction of being one of the only streaming services to offer only original content on its platform: You won't find a rotating library of blockbusters and classic sitcoms there. Instead, you'll get a tightly curated collection of interesting content for kids and adults alike. That includes shows such as Ted Lasso, The Morning Show and Shrinking, and movies like F1: The Movie -- all produced by and for Apple.
Because Apple's content collection is thoughtfully curated, it doesn't release as many titles each month as some of its competitors, but what it does put out always piques our interest. There are a few high-profile titles arriving on the streamer this July, including The Dink, plus a new season of Silo and the premiere of the crime thriller Lucky, a limited series led by Anya Taylor-Joy.

July 3
Silo (Season 3)
For its third season, Silo is going the Godfather Part II route, continuing its ongoing story while telling a separate parallel story about the past -- in this case, centuries before the events of the first two seasons.
Juliette (Rebecca Ferguson) has survived the events of season 2 but has to deal with memory loss while the silo tries to rebuild and faces new threats. Meanwhile, the "Before Times" segments will tell the story of how humanity was forced into the underground silo, as journalist Helen Drew (Jessica Henwick) and Congressman Daniel Keene (Ashley Zukerman) get pulled into a conspiracy that will ultimately destroy the world as we know it. Laura Innes, Jessica Brown Findlay, Morven Christie, Reed Birney, Matt Craven and Colin Hanks also join the cast for season 3. (The fourth and final season has already been shot.) The first episode airs Friday, July 3, with new episodes airing weekly.
July 8
Trying (Season 5)
Trying is one of those shows that, on the one hand, has a loyal fan base (it's lasted five seasons, so of course it does), and on the other hand, plenty of others have never heard of it. The show follows Nikki (Esther Smith) and Jason (Rafe Spall), a couple unable to conceive, so they set out to adopt a child. (Eventually, they adopt a pair of siblings, Princess and Tyler.)
The series returns for its fifth season, picking up where the last one left off, with Princess and Tyler's biological mother, Kat (Charlotte Riley), turning up at their home and bringing chaos with her. Scarlett Rayner, Cooper Turner, Sian Brooke and Darren Boyd all return this season. The first episode premieres on Wednesday, July 8, with new episodes dropping each Wednesday.
July 15
Lucky
Based on Marissa Stapley's bestselling 2021 novel, this limited crime thriller series centers on Lucky Armstrong (Anya Taylor-Joy), who was raised in a family of con artists and is ready to put her criminal past behind her. An unexpected turn of events offers her a chance to cash out legitimately -- but only if she can embrace her dark side and pull off one last job. The strong supporting cast includes Timothy Olyphant as Lucky's father, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor as an agent on Lucky's trail and Annette Bening as a ruthless crime boss. The show is the latest from creator Jonathan Tropper (who's also responsible for Your Friends & Neighbors) and co-showrunner Cassie Pappas (The L Word, Griselda). The first two episodes premiere on Wednesday, July 15, with new episodes airing each Wednesday.
July 24
The Dink
After years of tension and simmering hostilities, this generation's preeminent class conflict is about to explode in the newest original film from Apple TV. I'm talking, of course, about the cold war between tennis and pickleball. Caught between these factions is Dusty Boyd (Jake Johnson), a former tennis pro who discovers a love of pickleball while at a personal low, thanks in part to his playing partner Candace (Mary Steenburgen). This doesn't go over well with Dusty's father, Chuck (Ed Harris), a country-club owning tennis purist. Also featured is Dusty's childhood nemesis -- tennis legend Andy Roddick, playing himself -- and a killer supporting cast including Patton Oswalt, Chloe Fineman, Chris Parnell, Aaron Chen and Ben Stiller, who also serves as the film's producer. The film premieres on Friday, July 24.
