TSMC Says ASMLs Latest Chipmaking Gear Is Too Pricey to Use

TSMCwill hold off on deployingASML's most cutting-edge lithography machines for chip production through 2029 to save money. The chipmaker has no plans to adopt ASMLs latesthigh numerical aperture extreme ultraviolet lithography machines, or high-NA EUV, which fetch upwards of 350 million ($410 million) apiece.
